Our Mission

At Allison Audrey Design, we create thoughtfully curated interiors that serve as a foundation for our clients' evolving lives. We honor the personal and emotional connections people have with their decor—heirlooms, art, handcrafted objects—seamlessly blending old and new. Our goal is to craft interiors that are not just beautifully designed but rich with character and personal significance, with room to grow alongside you.

What I WILL do:

✓ Learn about you and your family—your history, interests, and how you use your home

✓Help you blend styles—combine the parts of design you and your partner enjoy most

✓Source furniture made from non-toxic, eco-conscious materials

What I WON’T do:

✘ Push my style or fleeting trends onto you

✘ Incorporate “fast-design” pieces that will quickly fall apart

✘ Ignore your concerns and needs for your space

It’s nice to meet you.

My name is Allison and I’m a lifelong creative. Since a very young age, I’ve explored a wide variety of artistic mediums—from macaroni art and papier-mâché to oil painting and ceramics. I fell in love with interior design as it’s a unique blend of multiple artistic forms coming together to create a beautiful whole.

With a Master’s in Decorative Art & Design History, I explore how design shapes our spaces and lives. I believe our homes should reflect our personal history. I work to blend heirlooms, art, and handcrafted pieces to create spaces rich with character.

Sustainability and authenticity are at the core of my work. I source responsibly made pieces while supporting artists and craftspeople. I’m passionate about incorporating eco-conscious furniture, distinctive objects, and authentic art in each design—crafting spaces that are truly special and unique to you!

FAQs

What’s the difference between interior designers and interior decorators?

While interior designers and decorators both focus on visual design elements of interior spaces, there are some distinct differences between the two.

  • Interior designers utilize their specialized knowledge in building codes, safety regulations, and more to make structural changes to interior spaces.

  • Interior decorators focus solely on the furnishing and decoration of existing spaces. Decorators employ their knowledge of spacial planning, color theory, and more to enhance the look and functionality of a space.

What experience do you have?

I hold a BFA in Art Education and an MA in Decorative Arts and Design History. Between my education and work experience, I have extensive knowledge of design trends, spacial planning, and color theory.

I bring 4+ years experience working in visual merchandising and home staging. In my role on the visual merchandising teams at Crate & Barrel and West Elm, I was responsible for the implementation of engaging product displays that reflected the brand’s aesthetic. As a lead stylist at Denver-based staging company Guest House, I expertly styled over 70 homes on the market, enhancing their appeal and increasing buyer interest.
